Languages



Mali had 32 languages, the most common were French and Bambara. Although there are several languages the official language was French, the mother tongue was Bambara. Bambara was spoken in central, southern, and western Mali which adds up to 80% of the people of Mali. Other languages include Tieyozo, Bozo, Bomu, Kagoro and many others. Mali had many interesting languages which makes Mali so unique, but the one that is most common is Bambara.
